God can do anything – Reflections on who God is – Day 11/31

God can do anything

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jeremiah 32:27

God can do anything! Nothing is too difficult for God. God can change any situation.

God can heal any sickness or disease, God can open blind eyes, God can make the lame walk. He can raise the dead.

God can move mountains, GOD can make the earth stop rotating or slow it down.

God can provide for the poor. God can change the life of a slave and make him a prince.

God can pardon the vilest sinner and turn him into a saint.

God can do anything. Nothing is too hard for God.

God can heal the brain and any other organ in the body. God can replace body parts. Nothing is too hard for God to do.

So why don’t we ask for more things from God?

Maybe we don’t remember that God can do anything. Nothing is too small and nothing is too big.

Maybe we have asked God a few times and we did not get the response we were expecting. Yes God can do anything but God would not do everything.

There are actually many things that God cannot do. God cannot do things that contradict God’s nature. As much as God can do anything, God will not do unkind things. Theoretically, God can do it, but God cannot do it because it is against God’s nature. God will stop being God once God contradicts God’s own nature.

God cannot lie. God cannot steal. God cannot fail. All these truths give me great joy because God can do anything! And I am sure that God can do all the things that are necessary to fulfill God’s purpose in my life and ministry.

Dear God, there is nothing too hard for you to do. I believe you have the power to perfect all that concerns me. I receive all that you have done already for me.

Lord, help me to get out of your way so that you can do so much more in me and through me.

I choose to believe you and trust you. Help me to remember to ask your help always, especially for those things that seem so small.

I rejoice in you dear heavenly Father. I ask all these in Jesus Name.
