“Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations. Isaiah 60:15”
I read this verse of scripture again recently and I was so encouraged by the insight that I received from God about his plans to beautify Israel. I was able to understand from it that God also delights in beautifying his church. It is very powerful to know that God is not unaware of all our shortcomings or our failures in the past. On the contrary, God knows how messed up things have been and He is committed to making us into what He envisions for us.
I have been greatly encouraged by this truth especially as I have been meditating on Matt 5:14 that says that we are the light of the world.
Thank you dear father for being so committed to beautifying your children. I choose to allow you to do all that you want to do in me and with me. I receive grace to continually trust and obey you moment by moment. I ask all this in Jesus Name.
