The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight. ~ Proverbs 15:8
There are two things we can learn about God from this verse!
God detests the payers of the wicked and God delights in the prayers of the upright.
Who are the upright? They are those people that God has made upright!
How did they become uprigh? By believing in and accepting the finished work of Jesus on the cross and walking in its reality!
So God makes us upright by cleaning us with the blood of Jesus! Then he can enjoy our prayers!
It is God who reveals to us, how much we need the blood of Jesus! It is Good who offered the blood of Jesus! It is God who calls us righteous and enjoys our prayers!
God loves us! God loves to respond to our prayers! He loves to answer them! He loves when we realize that we need Him always! That we were designed to contain Him!
We were not designed to be independent of God! We were designed to operate like God on earth by the power of God! Not by compulsion but willingly!
I am a dad! I know now what it means to enjoy helping your children! I loved helping them with school work, with their blogs, with their bicycles and so on! Much more than that GOD loves to help us be the best that we can be.
God loves to hear us pray! That means that God hears! God is not too busy to listen to us! God hears every prayer we pray! God responds to every prayer! So we must be willing to receive God’s response!
We cannot pray too much but we can do the prayer actions too much! Real prayer is talking to God with a desire to know and obey. When we pray sincerely, we are transformed by God!
Sometimes I find myself telling God how to answer my prayers! Until I surrender to God’s plans, I cannot enjoy God’s response!
God wants me to come boldly to the throne of Grace to obtain grace and mercy for each moment!
Lord, Oh Lord! Why do you love me so? You are love and I overwhelmed by your love for me!
Thank you oh God my Heavenly Father! I will ask every thing I need from you! You are all I need!
I ask in Jesus Name!
