I have discovered over the years that the one knows how to pass his thoughts across better usually gets the best results. Our days are mostly about communication. If you communicate effectively with your spouse you will see a drop in the level of “misunderstandings”. If you can communicate your skills properly you will get more job offers. If you can communicate your offers for services more effectively you will get more clients.
Communication is being able to transfer your thoughts and ideas to others who can’t read your mind in such a way that they can feel what you feel and visualize what you may have seen physically or envisioned.
Every leader must aim to get better at communication! I am always happy to learn more about how to communicate better. To increase my vocabulary and generally learn how to put words together to express my thoughts more succinctly. One thing I do these days is to examine documents that I find excellently written for tips on how to communicate better in writing.
