It takes Faith and Patience to obtain the Promise

Today is another day – I can see new muscles waking up every day! I’ve learnt more to celebrate small successes and give thanks for small things like being able to hold a glass of water!

This break is breaking me!!! LOL

Today The Holy Spirit Reminded me that I must hold on to the promise of God and obtain it through – Faith and Patience!

Faith for 100% recovery and Patience while it is being done!

I was also reminded to receive my healing by faith in God’s Word! Not to expect the impossible from medical Science and therapy – although they play a role in the healing process!

While the stroke was unfolding on Friday 7th April, I felt the Lord say to my heart “This is temporary! You will be restored! Physically it will be as if it never happened but you will come out a different man. And I will be glorified”.

So I’m holding on in Faith and God is helping my patience!

“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”~ ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Our God is trust worthy! He has already spoken full recovery into my life! I take it in Jesus Name!

How do I feel? – Let’s just say I’m working about 2 hours daily on the computer! I’m taking lots of rests! I’m doing my physio exercises! These can be very exhausting! Not being able to do simple tasks can be frustrating – but I simply look for little improvements and give thanks!

That’s it for today 😀!!!
