Oh Lord help your helpless Servant

It’s Saturday night – I can’t believe the weekend is almost over. Fridays are very good days for me because I take time to pray and study the Bible most of the day in preparation for my sermons on Sunday. However today I also had the honour of ministering at Shekinah Fire Ministries so I had three sermons to prepare.

So Friday went very well. I began to get a sense of the idea that God’s Glory is of great importance and one must seek to glorify God in all one does. I spent the night praying with some church members all night. Slept for 4 hours to start preparing to go to Shekinah Fire Ministries – 7th year Anniversary. The celebration was glorious and I felt the grace of God upon me during the preaching. I spoke on I kings 18 – Send down the fire. However, I feel that there is still a long way to go because, people still had time to thank me for the sermon. I am trusting God for a time when I would preach and the Lord will take over and people will forget that there was a minister. And people would rush into the kingdom of God even though there is no altar call.

So I think I still need to keep asking God for more of His power and glory. In my opinion, I need to be more broken so that God can do more. There were some words of knowledge about healing, but no one came to confirm them to me, neither did anyone come with joy in their heart and mouth that they got saved. So as far as I am concerned, there is still a long way to go. Oh Lord, help your helpless servant.

I am looking forward to tomorrow. Another opportunity to share about our good God and the love he shows to us through Jesus Christ. I am looking for salvation and demonstration of the spirit and of power.

Then I have to submit my paper on St Augustine on Monday. Lord help me.

Thats the end of my ramblings for the night.
