Praying in the Spirit Day 13 & 14

As I said in my post on Friday. Praying from 3:00am – 6:00am was better than 12:00 to 3:00am because I was more alert. Since then I have been praying from between 3:00am and 3:15am – 6:00am. I think I will continue like that for now until something else comes up. This means however that I must be in bed by 11:00am or else I will not have enough sleep for the day. Another Advantage of praying first thing after I wake up is that it makes it feel more like the begining of a new day, unlike praying from 12:00am which feels like the end of the previous day.

Sunday celebration was good. We considered 2 Kings 2 in the light of handling the relationships that God gives us. I had a good time preaching but I am still looking for the old time move of the power of God. Since God has not changed, I am convinced that we can still have the move of God’s power at our meetings like it was in the book of Acts, and in the days of John Wesly, Charles Spurgeon, Charles Finney, Maria Wodworth Eter, Smith Wigglesworth, Leonard Ravenhill, Oswald J Smith and so on. Oh Lord, glorify your name in our time.

My class on Pauline literature was great today. I found that one of my fellow students does not live too far away from our church. I hope she will visit sometime soon. It will be kind of interesting to see one of my classmates at church again.
