Praying in the Spirit Day 30 – Final Day !!!

Today is the final day of the challenge. After today, I will no longer write about my prayer time, but I plan to continue spending 3hrs in prayers everyday. Over the last 30 days, I have enjoyed a transformation in my spiritual life. Even though there are no dramatic changes that I can write about, I have experienced so much more peace in my life, so much less confidence in self-effort, and so much more confidence in what God can and wants to do through a surrendered life, that I cannot imagine stopping at this time.

In addition to personal transformation, I have noticed an increase in the number of visitors to our church. Since January 21st, we have had at least one guest at church every Sunday. While this is good, my desire is to be able to write that we are seeing one person enter into a life transforming relationship with God through Christ every Sunday. This is my prayer and my desire. I will keep on praying and trusting God for this until I see it in our church and ministry.

In my personal life, we have experienced the most difficult time financially. Even though we are still in the midst of this trial, I believe the Lord is faithful and glorious days are ahead. However, Olu and I are enjoying a great time of love and continual growth in grace. I relaunched my afropages.ca website again during this time. I have been spending my leisure to build it and update the information on it. Also I have been working more on my personal development blog and the marriage and relationship blog. A lot has happened in the last 30 days for which I am eternally grateful to God.

For those who have been inspired to do a 30 days challenge because of my challenge, I would love to read from you. Kindly send me an email at ade@adesobanjo.net.

Today’s prayer was very great because it marked the end of the challenge officially, and the beginning of a life-time of prayers. In the past 30days I missed 2 days of prayers. For another 2 Saturdays I could not pray because we had all-night prayers at church. I do not consider these as misses because I was praying all the same.

I spent most of the day today at the office with Demi and spent 2 hours chatting with a church member. It was such fruitful time. All glory and praise to God. I am reading a book by Hannah Withall Smith titled Christian’s Secret of a Happy Life. This book speaks so much to my heart about what God has been teaching me since the beginning of this year. I recommend this book strongly to all of you my dear readers. You can read it online or print it out and read it. I believe you will be blessed by it.

Till next time. Stay blessed.
