Praying in the Spirit Days 18, 19, 20 & 21

Oh its been 4 days since my last post. How time flies. School work is becoming more intense and I am spending more of my free time editing the www.afropages.ca website. I added new restaurants, a free online classified and a page about the website. That’s a lot of work. In between all the work I was able to pray everyday for 3hrs except on Sat when I slept and never hear my alarm. I woke up at about 8.am and I had to be at our all-day cell leaders training. So I guess, that makes it one day less. I will make up for it at the end.

I have noticed a few changes in my life since I started praying. One thing is that I am more aware of the pesence of God in my life, I am more aware of my total dependence on God to accomplish God’s purpose for my life which I believe is the best life possible for me and I have begun to see people walk into the church by themselves. I believe the Holy Spirit is using some of the publicity materials that we gave out a while back to draw people to church. I also sense an increased desire for a clearer understanding of God’s words.

Finance was tough this week, for the first time since I decided to follow my heart in not receiving pay from the church as a pastor, it was hard to pay our rent. However, by God’s grace we were able to gather some savings and borrow money set out for other things to make the payment. All glory to God. I am sharing this so that other pastors wanting to live by faith, can know that things can be rough sometimes. The key is never to loose your joy and take things one step at a time knowing that God will never fail you. NEVER GIVE IN TO FEAR.
