Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
Is Wisdom really so much better than Money and Possessions?
Wisdom is a very interesting virtue (that is if I can call it a virtue), it begins with knowing that you don’t know a lot and follows by being honest to accept that fact. On this site, my message is that it is better and much more fun to pursue wisdom that to seek to have loads of money! Does that mean that I don’t like money? Or that I think that being full of cool facts like how many cells are in one drop of blood is better than having money to pay for a vacation. No I like to have lots of money because I enjoy seeing the amount of good I can do with money. What this means is that the pursuit of wisdom will give you the money you need in addition to many other goodies that money alone may not be able to buy.
Take Action– Determine to always learn something new about how to achieve your life goals! How to relate better with people, and how to be more at peace and joyful. Wisdom is hard to teach, but it can be learned by being around and watching wise people. It can also be learned by being more attentive to your actions, why you do what you do, the results that you get from your attitudes and actions and the results of changing these with the aim of achieving your life goals. Wisdom is available all around us if only we take notice of her!
