You need to find your calling in life

It’s been a good year so far and I believe greater things are ahead. I have been thinking so much today about the fact that everyone can be a success at something. And I believe everyone can be a failure at a number of things too. Some people are mult-talented; They are quite good at a number of things. Some of us are not so talented, but I believe everyone can be excellent at something.

I thank the Lord that he granted me the grace to start pursuing my calling full-time last year. After one year, I feel so blessed. I sense a lot of fulfilment coming in the future and I am so grateful. People around me may say that I failed at engineering because I did not follow it to the end. I am willing to live with that because nothing in the business world can compare with the joy and fulfilment I have as a Pastor. I enjoyed my business as a networking service provider and web developer/trainer but i enjoy being a pator much more.

My advice to you dear reader is this. Keep doing what you are doing, but never stop searching for the reason why you were created. Once you find it, begin to take steps towards doing it most of the time. It may not be realistic to quit your job as a lawyer to open a restaurant, but you can gradually transition into it. Never mind what people will say or think. If that is your calling, your success will be so outstanding that all the people around you will notice. You may be an average lawyer, one of those lawyers but if you are called to take care of people in the food industry, you will come out as the best chef or restuarant owner in your city, state, nation and so on.

Your calling is that thing which you can do even when you are not paid. Something you will do even if you have all the money you need. Something that never bores you. It’s hard wired into you. God put that desire there before you were born. You need to fulfil your destiny. SPEND AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TO FIND YOUR CALL AND WHEN YOU FIND IT. STAY THERE.

If you read all the way to this point. That just so cool. Stay blessed.
